The workhorse here is a telehandler. It unloads blocks and steel from trucks, stacks them, and places them on roofs and upper floors without calling in a crane.
New plots often front onto roads that are not yet paved, with loose sand around the site. Specify a four-wheel-drive, rough-terrain telehandler, and ask for a sand check before sending a crane, because outriggers need firm, level ground or proper mats.
