Scissor lift or boom lift: which should I rent?+
A scissor lift goes straight up and gives a larger platform, which suits ceilings, racking and lighting. A boom lift reaches up and over obstacles, which suits pipe racks, facades and steel structures.
What working height do I need?+
Working height is the platform height plus about 2 m for the person standing on it. Measure the highest point of the job and choose a platform that reaches it with a small margin.
Can a man lift be used indoors?+
Yes. Electric scissor lifts with non-marking tyres work indoors on finished floors without fumes. Narrow models fit through standard doors and many service lifts.
